History:

Residential: He moved to Decatur County in 1940, and has been a resident of
                       Indianapolis since 2003. 

Military Service: He was a Veteran having served with the US Army during WW II with the
                             12^th Armored Division in the 714^th Tank Battalion in the European Theater

Occupation: He was owner and operator with his father of Ball and Son Welding.
                      He retired in 2003 after 57 years.

Memberships: Odd Fellow Lodge # 681 at Westport since 1947

                           Charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Westport

                           American Legion

                           Veterans of Foreign Wars # 5584 at Greensburg

                           12^th Armored Division Association

                           Westport Volunteer Fire Department from 1946 until late 1990’s.
                            He served the department as Fire Chief and on the board of directors.

                           Former member of the Westport United Methodist Church

                           Indianapolis Christ United Methodist Church
