Residential: Born & Raised in Jennings County. He was a former Rush County resident but lived most of his life in Decatur County.

Military Service: He was a WWII Veteran having served in the US Army Air Corp.

Occupation: He was a farmer and a mechanic for Westport Implement Company.

Hobbies: He enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and Euchre.
