HISTORY:

Residential: He was born and raised in Edmondson, Kentucky. He has been a Westport resident since 1949.

Occupation: He and his wife are the owners of Compton Heating & Cooling and the “It’s New To You” store in Westport. 

                      He had been the former owner of the Pine Lake Restaurant, The Pizza Place and Skilgas in Westport. 

                      He also was a delivery man and supervisor for Thompson Dairy at Columbus.

Memberships: Member of the Butlerville Mennonite Church.

                          Former member of the Cross Roads Community Church, the Westport Kiwanis Club, Moose Lodge,
                             Eagles Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Police.

Hobbies: Story telling, mowing and tinkering in the garage.
