Residential: He has been a lifelong resident of Decatur County.

Military Service: He was a veteran having served with the US Army.

Education: He graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1952.

Occupation: He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1993 after 41 years of service.
                      He was a lifelong farmer.

Hobbies: He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and helping other people in the community.
