Benjamin S. Craft, 38, of Columbus, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus with his sisters at his side. He was born on April 11, 1973 in Greensburg. He was the son of Virgil S. and Peggy J. Craft. He was raised in Westport. He attended South Decatur High School. He was an accomplished guitar player and a talented artist. He is survived by his mother, Peggy J. Craft; his sisters, Cathy J. (Robert) Reed of Columbus, Sheila C. Flath of Milroy and Michele R. (Wayne) Komsi of Scipio; his brothers, James (Vickie) Adams of Milford, Randy Adams of Lebanon and Chris C. Craft of Napoleon. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Craft, his sister, Dora E. Tungate and his brother, Adrian Adams.
The funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Rockcreek Cemetery. A time of visitation will be on Tuesday from Noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
