HISTORY:

Residential: He was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. He has been a Westport resident since 1958.

Military Service: He was a US Army Veteran having served during World War II and the Korean War.

Occupation: He retired from RPR Construction Company in 1990 after 30 years of service.
                      He also worked on the safety patrol at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 30 years.

Memberships: Westport Baptist Church

                          Member & past Master of the Westport Masonic Lodge # 52 F. & A.M.

                          North Vernon Order of the Eastern Star # 183

                          Greensburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 5584

                          Westport Senior Citizen Group

Hobbies: Coin collecting and auto racing.

                 Mr. Cross enjoyed selling produce to the senior citizens in the area and
                    for many years helped the Westport Kiwanis Club cook chicken at the annual barbeque.
