Kenneth Wayne White, 77, of Osgood, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at his residence. He was born on May 13, 1945, in Columbus, the son of Stanley & Mary Jane (Magee) White. He had been a resident of Hillyard, FL for 35 years and a Indiana resident for the past 8 years. He was the owner of the White's Salvage. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, flea marketing, reading his Bible and woodworking. He married Myrtle Davis on April 16, 1983, in Jellico, TN and she survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Lisa Hollin of Osgood, Theresa (James) Warner of Osgood, and Lori (Chuck) Adams of Sandusky; step-daughter, Gail Obermeyer of Greensburg; step sons, John Obermeyer and Dennis Obermeyer of Hillyard, FL and Paul Obermeyer of Jacksonville, FL; his sisters, Gloria (Ronald) Haislup of North Vernon and Sheila Skobel of Columbus; his brothers, Dickie (Linda) White and William (Diane) White both of Columbus; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonnie Stevens; brothers, Robert Lee White, and David White and son-in-law, Grant Hollin. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Wesley Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
