History:

Residential: He was born and raised in Kentucky. He moved to Indiana in 1928 and has
                       resided in Bartholomew and Jennings Counties. He has lived at his current
                       residence for the past 30 years.

Military Service: He was a veteran having served with the U.S. Marines Corps. during WWII.

Occupation: He retired from the Handle Factory at North Vernon.          

Memberships: He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post at Columbus.

 

2nd Marriage to: Goldie Marie (Kurts) Imel
                  Place: Columbus, Indiana
                    Date: February 28, 1953
     She preceded him in death on February 29, 1988.
