Residential: He was born and raised in Indianapolis. He was a Westport resident from 1993 until he moved to Greensburg in 1999.

Education: He graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1944.

Occupation: He was a Salesman for Wm. H. Block Company for 21 years. He retired from Indiana Gas at Shelbyville.
                      He was a greeter at Wal-Mart for many years. 

Memberships: Westport Kiwanis Club
                          First Baptist Church at Greensburg

Hobbies: He enjoyed NASCAR, woodworking and stamp collecting.
