HISTORY:

Residential: He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County.

Education: Graduated from Burney High School in 1952.

Military Service: He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean War.

Occupation: He retired in 1986 from Cummins Engine Company after 28 years of service, former employee of Arvin and was also a farmer.

Hobbies: He enjoyed truck drag racing, horse showing, antique farm machinery, and playing euchre.

   Memberships: Burney Baptist Church since 1940 where he served as a trustee

                              National Rifle Association

                              American Legion Post # 129 at Greensburg

                              Diesel Workers Union

                              Power of the Past Antique Club

                              Order of Eastern Star - Lois Chapter # 147

                              Westport Masonic Lodge # 52 F. & A.M.

                              Past Master at the Milford Lodge # 94 F. & A.M.
