History:
Residential:
He resided most of his life in Clay Township. In 1998, he moved to an assisted
living facility in Jacksonville, Florida near his son, Jon. He resided there
until the
past several weeks when his health began to decline.

He was also a farmer having assumed responsibility for the family farm after the death of his father.
Education: Graduated from Burney High School in 1936.
Military Service:
In 1942, he joined
the Army Air Corps, and was assigned to the 5th Air Force.
During World War II, he was stationed in Australia and New Guinea and was
discharged in 1945 as a result of injuries sustained while overseas.
Memberships: He was active for many years in the National Rural Letter Carriers Association.
Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He had been a member of the Waynesburg Christian Church, the First Christian
Church of Greensburg, and the Burney Baptist Church.

to Crystal Anderhub from 1986 until 2000 when ill health caused them
