Occupation: She had worked as a baby sitter for many years caring for approximately 200 children.
Memberships: A member of the former Bakers Dozen Home Economics Club where she had held several offices.
She was a past President of the Decatur County Extension Homemakers.
She had been County President of the Past Extension Homemakers County Presidents Club.
She was the 1997 winner of the Decatur County Certificate of Distinction.
She was a past member of the Decatur County Extension Board.
She had been Committee Chairman and member for the Open Class Exhibits at the county fair.
She had served as State Public Relation Committee Member representing Madison District.
She was a member of the Union Baptist Church where she had served as Sunday School Superintendent and Trustee.
She was presently serving as President of Union Baptist Church Mission Society.
She was presently
serving as Decatur County White Cross Chairman of the Decatur County
American Baptist Women Ministry.
She was a retired member of the PSI IOTA XI Sorority,
Zeta Nu Chapter where she had served as President,
Vice President and Treasurer.
She was a former member of the Westport Community Building Committee where she had served as secretary.
She received the 1993 Mack Emly Community Service Award presented by the Westport Kiwanis Club.
She had served on the Board of Directors for the Decatur County United Fund.
Hobbies: She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and baking.
