HISTORY:

Residential: He was a former resident of Sardinia for the past 44 years. He had been a lifelong resident of Northern Jennings and Southern Decatur County.

Education: He graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1934.

Occupation: He was a lifelong farmer and had retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1979 after 15 years of service.                           

Memberships: Senior Center at North Vernon

                             Diesel Workers Union at Columbus

                             Pleasant View United Methodist Church

Hobbies: He enjoyed fishing, playing euchre, dancing, camping, Senior Center activities, gardening and he was oral historian.

 

Married: Martha J. Bowyer

           She preceded him in death on April 27, 2008.
