He was a former trustee of Jackson Township.
Education: He graduated from Jackson Township High School in
1927.
Military Service: He was a US Army
Veteran of WW II from April, 1942 to November, 1945
serving as Technical Sergeant.
He was Communication Chief in the Hdq. & Hdq. Det. 7th Medical Battalion.
He served in the battles and campaigns of
The Aleutian Islands, The Eastern Mandates,
The Southern Philippines, Okinawa and
Korea.
He was awarded the Bronze Star for
“meritorious service”.
