HISTORY:

Residential: He was raised in Ripley County, Indiana. He had lived in Bartholomew County since 1968.

Education: He graduated from Napoleon High School.

Occupation: He retired in 1967 from the U.S. Air Force as Chief Master Sgt. He had served during WW II, Korea and Vietnam.

                         Following retirement from the Air Force worked at the Post Office in Columbus.

Memberships: Columbus American Legion Post # 24

Hobbies: He enjoyed Nascar Racing and auto mechanics.
