History:

Residential: Lifelong resident of Columbia Township in Jennings County.

Education: Graduated from Zenas High School in 1943.

Occupation: He was a lifelong farmer and had driven a school bus for Jennings County
                      Schools for 30 years.

Memberships: Zenas Baptist Church where he had served as Trustee for many years. 

                          Democrat precinct committeeman for Columbia Township. 

                          He was elected in 1958 and served 2 terms as a Jennings County Commissioner. 
                           He then was elected in 1966 to the county council and served 4 consecutive terms. 

                          He had served on the Jennings County School Board from October 1983 until
                           June of 1986.                 

Hobbies: Bowling, fishing & mushroom hunting. He was also a Pacer fan.
                 He loved doing things with his grandchildren and family get-togethers.
