HISTORY:

   Education: She graduated in 1939 from Waddy High School in Shelby County, Kentucky in 1939.

   Residential: After she graduated from High School she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. She then moved to Westport in 1962.

   Occupation: She had been a bookkeeper for Vancamp Wholesale Hardware at Indianapolis for several years.

                         In 1962 after moving to Westport she started working for Gatewood Lumber and Supply Co. for a number of years.

                         She was the main payroll clerk for Reliance Electric in Columbus, Indiana.

                         She had served for 4 years as the Westport Town Clerk from January 1980 until December 1984
