                                   at 4:00 p.m. Location will be the Doermann Memorial Presbyterian
                                   Church with Mr. Merelle Caudill Officiating.
                                   Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.                

Indiana Services: Funeral: Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at the Westport Baptist Church.

Visitation: Monday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home.
                  Tuesday one hour prior to service at the Westport Baptist Church.
Officiating: Rev. David A. Scaggs
Final Resting Place: Westport Cemetery

HISTORY:

Residential: He was born and raised in Letcher, Kentucky.
                      He has been a resident of Westport for the past 38 years.

Education: He graduated from Cumberland College at Williamsburg, Kentucky
                    and he received his masters at Indiana University.

Occupation: He retired in 2001 from South Decatur High School where he was a biology teacher.

Memberships: Westport Baptist Church where he was serving as a Deacon.

                          Westport Masonic Lodge # 52 F. & A.M.

                          ISTA-NEA

                          Indiana Retired Teachers Association

                          Decatur County Education Association

                          Former member of the Doermann Memorial Presbyterian Church

Hobbies: He enjoyed fishing, painting, listening to music, gardening, coaching and sports.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buck McIntyre Scholarship Fund through the Decatur County Community Foundation, Indiana Bone Marrow Transplant Patient Fund, Westport Baptist Church or Hospice of Decatur County.  Memorial envelopes will be available through the funeral home.
