Education: He had graduated from Sandcreek High School in 1946. He had received an Associates Degree from Indiana Business College at Columbus.
Occupation: He retired from Muscatatuck State Hospital in 1985. He had previously worked for Golden Industries at Columbus.
Memberships: He was a member of the Westport Baptist Church and the Franklin Memorial Christian Church at Franklin.
He was a former member of the Westport Masonic Lodge # 52 F. & A.M.
Hobbies: He enjoyed doing genealogy and reading.
