History:

Residential: He was raised in Decatur County. He has been a Jennings County resident since 1945.

Military Service: He was a veteran of WW 2 having served with the US Army. He received a bronze
                              star for his service while serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland
                              and Central Europe.

Occupation: He was a lifelong farmer. He had drove a school bus for Jennings County Community
                       Schools for several years.

Hobbies: He enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds Baseball games, fishing in Florida, gardening and growing roses.

Memberships: New Bethel United Methodist Church

                          60 year member of the Westport IOOF Lodge # 681

                          Precinct Committeeman for the Republican Party

                          Former Director of the Westport Community Vol. Fire Dept.

1st Marriage to: Birdie L. Surface
                Place: Brewersville, Indiana
                  Date: September 4, 1946
        She preceded him in death on January 28, 1968.

2nd Marriage to: Juanita Olive Clarkson
                   Place: Bennington, Indiana
                     Date: November 25, 1971
        She preceded him in death on August 5, 1996.

2 Sons - David E. (Wife: Linda) Mozingo - Westport, Indiana

                Larry D. (Wife: Dee) Mozingo - North Vernon, Indiana

2 Granddaughters - Kristina L. Mozingo Kirchner - North Vernon, Indiana

                                   Bailey Anne Mozingo - Westport, Indiana
