Residential: He was born and raised in Massachusetts. He moved to Indiana in 1968.

Education: He graduated from Hull High School in 1962.

Military Service: He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War and was a member
                             of the Army National Guard of Indiana.

Occupation: He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 2004 after 31 years of service.

Memberships: Diesel Workers Union

Hobbies: He enjoyed fishing, gardening, computers and woodworking.
