Occupation: He retired from the U.S. Army in 1967 after 18 years of service.
                      He was a sergeant with the 3^rd artillery and served during the Korean War.

1st Marriage to: Betty Jean Obenchain
                 Place: Indianapolis, Indiana
                   Date: December 24, 1948
       She preceded him in death on October 4, 1991
