Residential: He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County.

Occupation: He retired from the U.S. Army in 1967 after 18 years of service.
                      He was a sergeant with the 3rd artillery and served during the Korean War.

Memberships: Rodney Friendship Separate Baptist Church 

 

1st Marriage to: Betty Jean Obenchain
                 Place: Indianapolis, Indiana
                   Date: December 24, 1948
       She preceded him in death on October 4, 1991


2nd Marriage to: Mary H. Owens
                  Place: Forest Hill, Indiana
                    Date: March 26, 1994
