Christopher Wayne Reese

Christopher Wayne Reese, 49 of Westport passed away Saturday April 23, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Reese was born September 2, 1961 in Kennewick, Washington, He was the son of Charles P. Reese and Eleanor B. (Bell) Anderson. He was born in Washington and raised in Costa Mesa, California. He has been a Westport resident for the past 8 years.

Mr. Reese graduated from Estancia High School in Costa Mesa California. He was employed at Aisin USA in Seymour and attended the Westport Wesleyan Church. Mr. Reese was a Veteran having served 18 years with the US Army. He enjoyed building computers and firearms. Mr. Reese married Donna Jean Black in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on July 17, 1998.

He is survived by; his wife, Donna Jean Reese of Westport, Indiana; his mother, Eleanor B. Anderson of Costa Mesa, California; his daughters, Briana Reese of Pennsylvania and Sarah Reese of Westport, Indiana; his stepdaughters, Jessica Neukam of Westport, Indiana and Heather Fletcher of Greensburg, Indiana; his sons, Justin Reese of Westport, Indiana, Daniel and Kyle Reese of Pennsylvania; his stepson, Michael Fletcher II, of  Westport, Indiana; his sister,  Maggie Forootan of California; his step sister, Cindy Davenport of California; his step brothers, Rick and Bruce Anderson of California; his uncle and aunt, Ralph & Jane Bell of Burbank Washington and 6 Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Officiating will be Rev. Tim Talent & Rev. Harvey Weaver. Burial will be at the Westport Cemetery with Military Graveside Services. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
