HISTORY:

Residential: She has been a lifelong resident of Westport.

Education: She graduated from Westport High School in 1938.

Occupation: She had been employed at the Westport Branch of Union Bank & Trust Company and the Westport Gas Company.

                      She had also been employed as a secretary for the Miles Shera Insurance, Jackson Township High School and
                        Sandcreek Elementary.

Memberships: Westport Baptist Church

                           Decatur County Historical Society

                           North Vernon Order of Eastern Star #183.

                           She was a member of the former Otto chapter of Eastern Star # 570 where she had served
                               as past Worthy Matron and District Deputy.

Hobbies: She enjoyed needlepoint and knitting.

     He preceded her in death on November 28, 2003.
