Reba Faye Siebert, 69, of Westport, died unexpectedly Monday, January 24, 2011 at her residence. She was born on December 21, 1941 in Rodney to Roy Mark and Freda Daisy (Bishop) Mires.
She had been a lifelong resident of the Westport area. She had worked in the X-ray department at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She and her husband owned the Downtown Restaurant in Westport for 10 years and she had worked in several other local restaurants. She was a member of Rodney Wesleyan Church and Westport Senior Citizens Group. Her hobbies included playing Bingo and spending time with her family and friends.
She married Clinton Siebert in Westport, Indiana on April 25, 1987. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1995. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca J. (Tom) Creech of Westport, Patricia F. (Steve) Curry of Seymour, Rita L. Williams of Westport; her son, Roy (Jessi) White of Westport; her Sisters, Sharon K. (Don) Porter of North Vernon, Dorothy Hacker and Agnes Barnes of Columbus; her brother Allan Mires of Seymour; 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clinton Siebert; her 5 brothers, Arnold, Donald, Paul, Roy Jr. and Marlin Mires and 1 Great Granddaughter, Piper Marie Flynn.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with the Rev. Michael D. Miller officiating. Burial will take place at the Rodney Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
