HISTORY:

Residential: He was born and raised in Ripley County. He had been a Sardinia area resident since 1936.

Education: He graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1940.

Military Service: He was a Veteran having served with the US Army during WW II.

Occupation: He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1983 after 32 years of service.

Hobbies: He enjoyed fishing and music.

Memberships: Westport Masonic Lodge # 52 F. & A.M. and the former Alert Masonic Lodge # 395

                          Sardinia Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon, Trustee and sang in the choir.

 

  

1st Married: Ruby D. Beall

           Date: January 24, 1948
     She preceded him in death on October 20, 1966.

 

2nd Married: Marguerite (Youman) Apsley
          Place: Sardinia, Indiana
            Date: July 31, 1971

                   Stella Milholland - Greensburg, Indiana

                   June Tumilty - Greensburg, Indiana  

1 Brother - Donald Taylor - Greensburg, Indiana
