History:

Residential: He moved to the Westport area in 1936.

Education: He graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1944, Purdue University in 1953 and
                      Indiana State University in 1972 with a Master of Science Degree.

Military Service: He was a veteran with the US Navy having served during WWII.

Occupation: He was a rural mail carrier for the Westport Post Office.

                      He had been a teacher in the Vocational Agricultural Dept. & in sales and marketing in area high schools for 18 years.

                      Former employee for Ralston Purina Company for several years

Memberships: He was a member of the Westport Kiwanis Club and served as President from 1969-70, 1992-93 and 2005-06.

                         He was a Past Lieutenant Governor of the Farmland Division of Kiwanis International from 1993-94.

                         President & member of the Westport Senior Citizens
