Robert E. Masters, 64, of Greensburg, passed away at 1:16 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on July 20, 1957 in Shelbyville, the son of Earl Valentine and Mertle Marie (Anderson) Masters. He has been a Greensburg resident for the majority of his life. Robert graduated in 1975 from Greensburg High School. He had formerly worked for Print Pack in Greenburg. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Greensburg and the North American Hunting Club. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Christina (Chris) Mozingo of Greensburg; 4 grandchildren, Cierra Mozingo (Chris Wethington), Dylan Mozingo, Christopher Mozingo and Bryce Mozingo all of Greensburg; 3 great grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Tina Masters, Lillian Heath Masters & Katherine Croddy. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Pastor David Steidel will be officiating. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines inside the funeral home and masks are recommended. Cremation will follow after the service per his wishes.
