Wanda June Korb, 93, of Westport, passed away at 3:01 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She was born on December 25, 1924 in Lawrenceburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Glen & Mabel (Adriance) Richardson. She was raised in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania and graduated from Jersey Shore High School. She had lived in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania and also in Scottsdale, Arizona for many years, and had lived in Westport the past 4 years. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. She loved her family and her dogs. She married George W. "Bob" Korb in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death in January 2001. Survivors include daughter, Penelope Young of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; son, Edward (Belva) Brown of Westport, Indiana; granddaughters, Tania Myers and Deanne Shirey of Salladasburg, Pennsylvania, Jamie Weaver of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, Stephanie Brown of Greensburg, Indiana and Donna (Chris) Arthur of Westport, Indiana; grandsons, Robbie Fisher of Mississippi and Gayle (Heather) Coombs of Greensburg, Indiana and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beverly Sasso and Patty Schone; brother, Lawrence Richardson. Per Wanda's wishes she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date in Pennsylvania. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the local animal shelter or K9 for Warriors.
