Janet Marie Einhaus, 72, of Westport, she ran into the arms of Jesus and her son, Chris on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Our Hospice in Columbus. She was born on April 14, 1948 in Greensburg, the daughter of Raymond and Josephine (Obermeyer) Greiwe. Janet was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and graduated from Greensburg High School in 1966. She had retired in 1998 from Delta Faucet after 26 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg. She enjoyed woodworking, shopping and reading. She married Douglas Lee Einhaus in Greensburg on July 18, 1982 and he survives. Other survivors include her children, Brian (Debbie) French of Greensburg, Becky (Shane) Billingsley of Westport and Nick French of Greensburg; her step children, Mark Einhaus of Versailles and Trisha Einhaus of Oglethorpe, Georgia; her sister, Betty (Ray) Sample of Greensburg; her brother, Mike (Barb) Greiwe of Greensburg; her 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher M. French; step son, Brian Einhaus; her sisters, Rosemary K. Collins, Patricia Lowery and Jane Hayley; her brothers, Thomas George Greiwe, Fred Greiwe and David Greiwe. Per Janet's wishes, she will be cremated. A private funeral service will be conducted for the family with Rev. Tom Rust officiating. The Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
