Edward L. Felts, 95, of Davenport, FL passed away on June 9, 2022 at his residence. He was born on September 25, 1926 in Erin, Tennessee to Clarence and Lizzie Durham Felts. He was a proud U.S. Army WWII Veteran, he moved to Florida in 1982 from Redford, Michigan and he was a supervisor for 25 years at the General Motors until his retirement in 1982. Edward was a member of the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church in Davenport, FL and a member of the Masons for 70 plus years. Edward enjoyed traveling and camping. Above all, he loved his family and cherished time spent with them. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Keith Felts. Edward leaves behind to cherish his memory, sons, Charles Felts and wife, Sandra of Taylor, Michigan and Ronald Felts and wife, Patricia of Newport, Michigan; brother, Charlie Felts; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Bear Creek Cemetery at Alert, Indiana. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the local arrangements.
