Gary Lee Rathburn, 61, of Butlerville, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1959 in Tacoma, Washington, the son of Richard and Sarah (Garrett) Rathburn. He was raised in Sacramento, California, Greensburg and New Mexico. He was a member of The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Gary enjoyed aircrafts, air shows, camping, hiking, skiing, swimming, carnivals, amusement parks, children's museums and watching action movies. He married Mary "Rachel" Moore in Waynesburg on March 21, 1998 and she survives. Other survives include his daughters, Rachel Michelle Rathburn and Miranda Lee (Devon) McNealy both of Columbus, Madison Marie Donna Rathburn and Emily Rosemary Rathburn both of Butlerville; his sons, Steven (Sarah) Rathburn of Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin, Colby David Jacob Rathburn and Jack David Ryan Rathburn both of Butlerville; his granddaughter, Jordan Olivia Rathburn; his sisters, Juanita (David) Willard and Carol Rathburn both of Greensburg and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor George Willette officiating. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
