Michael Lynn Coffey, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, his walk with God continues. Michael was born on June 14, 1967, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Charles and Mildred Coffey. Michael had worked for the racetrack at Claremont and for Venture Logistics in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Mount Calvary Evangelistic Church. He enjoyed camping, long road trips and spending time with his family and friends. Michael is survived by his wife Shirley Coffey; children, Little Mikey Coffey, Twins, Brett & Brittany Coffey; siblings, Patricia Carroll, Marlene Centers, Deborah Harris, Vicki Lenk, Rachel Coffey, Charles "Wes" Coffey, Terry Wyatt, Michael Wyatt and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Clarissa Childress and Darlene Harper, his biological mother Linda Carroll, his brothers, Paul and Timothy Coffey and several other family members.
